My family started going to the Oakland deli for ravioli since my dad was a little boy in the 1930's. We now have seven generations that have eaten your raviolis. My best memories are going into the deli and getting a free breadstick with salami wrapped around it. Jimmy from the original family always waited on me. I was so spoiled by him, he would pretend to clean until my number came up. We got raviolis and sauce, salami, green and black olives. I would go in the early 70's with $20 and get 4 boxes ravioli & sauce, olives , a loaf of sourdough and the rest would go for a stack of salami. We would get ravioli's for every Sunday dinner at Grandma's in Berkeley and every New Year's, Easter, and every christening, and birthday party. Everyone's favorite.

Always craving a great meatball sandwich and this satisfied it. Ordered my meatball sandwich on a soft roll with fresh mozzarella and fresh tomatoes. I will definitely order this again.

This is easily one of, if not, my favorite deli in town. Love their ingredients and variety, the sandwich i had was the best! Love the coppa fresh mozzarella with the roasted red peppers and vinegar combo.

I was devastated years ago when the Temescal location closed. It was our regular Saturday sandwhich break from working on our house. The sandwiches are so good, I now drive from the east bay to Napa, pick em up to go, and leave a nice tip. There's no substitute. And 100% worth the round trip.
